The person behind the contract work, in plain terms.
I'm Dipendra — a full-stack developer based in Kathmandu, with several years building production web applications: Fastify and PostgreSQL on the backend, React and Next.js on the front. Most of my work starts the same way: someone is stuck. A bug nobody can reproduce, a deadline slipping, a codebase nobody currently on the team wrote. I read the code, work out what's actually happening, and either fix it or tell you honestly that the real problem is somewhere else.
That same habit extends to building new things. I've shipped full-stack features end to end for remote, cross-functional teams — integrating AI into production systems, automating CI/CD pipelines, and building internal developer tooling (shared libraries, linting configs, project generators) to make the rest of a team faster. Alongside debugging, I now also build web and mobile products from scratch and set up the infrastructure underneath them, using the same approach: understand the real requirement first, then build something that doesn't need to be fixed again in six months.
How I work
- Based in Kathmandu (Asia/Kathmandu) — most collaboration happens async, in writing, rather than over a string of meetings.
- Replies to a new message within 4 hours.
- Comfortable inheriting someone else’s code — most of what I fix, I did not write.
